Macarthur Energy Retail supplies customers in NSW and SE QLD as the retailer of record. Government rebates and assistance may help with your energy bills. We can help you check the eligibility rules and application process for each scheme, including which applications go through your retailer and which go directly to the government.
From time to time the Australian Government provides bill relief credits applied directly through your retailer. Where these are in place we will apply them automatically — you don't need to do anything. Availability, eligibility and payment dates depend on the current government scheme. See energy.gov.au for the current scheme.
NSW energy rebates and emergency assistance can help eligible households with their energy bills. These programs are funded by the NSW Government to support eligible households experiencing energy costs and financial difficulties. Select a scheme below for its current amount, full eligibility rules and application steps. Some applications go through your retailer; others go directly to Service NSW. The government pages explain which process applies.

Energy Made Easy (EME) is the Australian Energy Regulator’s energy plan comparison service.
Restricted plans available to small customers must still be loaded into EME but do not need to be published on EME. The Basic Plan Information Document (BPID) must still be generated from EME and provided to customers upon request however, it is not required to be published on the retailer’s website.
Rebates and concessions in NSW are funded by the NSW Government.

We will explain whether you need to apply through the retailer or Service NSW, what information is required and how to provide it securely. Please do not send identity documents, concession card numbers or medical information through the general enquiry form.
