Plan information

Basic & Detailed plan information.

Every Macarthur Energy Retail plan offered with Stake Energy batteries has a Basic Plan Information Document (BPID) and a Detailed Plan Information Document (DPID), prepared in line with the AER's Retail Pricing Information Guidelines (V5.0). Use the table below to request the documents for any plan, or compare offers on the AER's Energy Made Easy site (which covers Macarthur's NSW and SE QLD supply area).

What these documents are

The Australian Energy Regulator (AER) requires every retailer to publish, for each generally available plan, two standardised disclosure documents:

  • Basic Plan Information Document (BPID) — a one-page summary of headline charges, the unconditional price and how it compares to the AER reference price (Default Market Offer).
  • Detailed Plan Information Document (DPID) — the full pricing schedule, including network tariff pass-throughs, demand charges, fees, conditional discounts, eligibility criteria and the explanatory notes that sit behind the headline figures.

Both documents are prepared in the format required by the AER's Retail Pricing Information Guidelines V5.0, section 22. They can be requested from us and are published on the AER's Energy Made Easy website when available. Macarthur supplies customers in NSW and SE QLD only — the documents below cover all the plans available in Macarthur's supply area.

Market offer plans

Macarthur market offers are restricted plans available to qualifying commercial & industrial customers using Stake batteries. The BPID and DPID for each plan can be requested below. The BPID is automatically given to you (with explicit informed consent recorded) when you sign up, along with a copy of the market retail contract terms.

How to read a BPID and DPID

The BPID — your one-page summary

  • Reference price comparison. Shows the unconditional price for typical annual usage compared with the AER reference price for the same usage in your distribution region.
  • Headline charges. Daily supply charge, usage rate(s), demand rate (where applicable), feed-in tariff (where applicable).
  • Discount or benefit. Any conditional benefit (e.g. pay-on-time discount) and the conditions to receive it.
  • Bill estimate. What the typical annual bill would be, in dollars.

The DPID — the detail behind the headline

  • Full pricing schedule including all controlled-load and time-of-use rates.
  • Network tariff pass-throughs and the source distributor tariff code.
  • Eligibility criteria and any usage thresholds.
  • Other fees and charges (also see our Fees & charges page).
  • How and when prices may vary, including notice periods.
  • Greenpower content and other product features.
