Fees and charges schedule.

A consolidated list of all non-energy fees that may appear on your Stake Energy bill. Disclosed in line with the AER's Retail Pricing Information Guidelines V5.0 and reproduced in each plan's Detailed Plan Information Document. All amounts are GST-inclusive unless stated.

Meter & site fees

Your distributor and metering provider charge for installing, replacing, testing and reading meters. We pass these through at cost — we do not add a margin. The amounts below are typical regulated values; the actual charge on your bill is the amount we are charged by the distributor or metering coordinator.

Disconnection & reconnection

We pass distributor disconnection and reconnection charges through at cost. We do not charge a separate retailer fee.

  • Customer-portal access — nil.
  • Concession application — nil; we will help you apply.
  • Hardship program enrolment — nil; late-payment fees waived while you're enrolled and meeting arrangements.
  • Family-violence account changes — nil; see our Family Violence Policy.
  • Complaint handling — nil; see our Complaints Policy.

When fees can change

Distributor and metering charges are set by your distributor and the metering coordinator and are reviewed each year. We will give you written notice at least 5 business days before any change to a fee on your account takes effect, in line with your Market contract terms or Standing contract terms. The current schedule is always published here and reproduced in each plan's DPID.
