Our plans

Plans, prices and how we compare.

Stake Energy battery-backed plans are sold by Macarthur Energy Retail Pty Ltd, the AER-authorised retailer and retailer of record. Macarthur currently supplies customers in New South Wales and South East Queensland. Each plan below shows how its unconditional price compares with the Default Market Offer (DMO) reference price for the relevant distribution region — the comparison the Australian Energy Regulator's Electricity Retail Code requires retailers to disclose.

Updated: 1 May 2026 NSW & SE QLD — DMO 7 Reference price: AER

How we compare prices

The "vs reference price" figure shows our unconditional unit price for typical annual usage compared with the reference price set for that region and customer type by the Australian Energy Regulator (the Default Market Offer). A negative percentage means our plan is cheaper than the reference price for the same usage. This is required disclosure under section 22 of the Electricity Retail Code.

Market offer plans

Macarthur market offers are the contracted plans most Stake battery customers are on. Prices include the savings unlocked by Stake's behind-the-meter battery and a contracted year-on-year discount path. Each plan is restricted — i.e. only available to qualifying commercial & industrial sites that sign up via this website or a referral.
