If you don't want Stake Energy or anyone marketing on our behalf to approach you to sell energy, you can ask to be added to our No Contact List. This statement is published in line with rule 65 of the National Energy Retail Rules.
You can ask Stake Energy and Macarthur Energy Retail, our retailer of record, to place you on the No Contact List. We will record your request and ensure energy marketers acting on our behalf do not approach you through the channels covered by the list.
The No Contact List under rule 65 covers energy marketing in person at your premises and by post. Marketing calls, emails and text messages are covered by separate rules; you can also tell us you wish to stop those messages.
Being on the list does not prevent important communications about an existing account or service, such as bills, interruptions or life support, or our response to an enquiry you make.
There is no charge and you do not need to be a customer. Tell us your name and the address you want included, using any of these options:

Your entry lasts for 2 years. Each time you ask to join or remain on the list, the 2-year period starts again. Marketers must not contact you through the covered channels while your entry is current.
Contact us using the same options if your details change or you wish to change your marketing preferences. Tell us separately if you also want to stop marketing calls, emails or text messages.
For eligible phone numbers, the Australian Government's Do Not Call Register provides a separate way to restrict unsolicited marketing calls. You can also use the unsubscribe option in our marketing emails or text messages.
We also respect signs at your premises stating that canvassing or advertising is not permitted.
